The maintenance of industrial plants carried out by OMI SUD includes many industrial areas such as petrochemical plants, power generation plants and waste treatment plants.

Water treatment plant maintenance
O.M.I. SUD offers specialized services for the maintenance of purification plants, wastewater treatment and sewage systems. Company staff are able to intervene in a professional way both for routine and special maintenance jobs, with 24/24 emergency service.
Industrial plant mechanical maintenance
O.M.I. SUD operates in the field of industrial maintenance of plants and, over the years, has specialised in the revamping and replacement of mechanical equipment such as heat exchangers, valves, turbines, injectors, pumps and light and heavy metal sections.
The maintenance of industrial plants carried out by O.M.I. SUD includes many industrial areas such as petrochemical plants, power generation plants and waste treatment plants.
Ship maintenance
Another major O.M.I. SUD business sector is the carrying out of routine and special maintenance in the shipbuilding industry. The company is authorised to carry out works pursuant to art. 68 of the Navigation Code.
O.M.I. SUD provides maintenance activities for heating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, hull repairs, metal section and piping.
Precision mechanical engineering
O.M.I. SUD specialises in precision mechanical engineering and metal machining (Precision Turning and Milling) with the aid of specific production units: Precision Machines with Lathes and CNC Machining Centres. Thanks to its many years of experience acquired in the field of precision engineering, it is able to ensure production capacity and the high quality of finished products. Thanks to the use of modern technologies and a highly specialized technical staff, OMI SUD is able to meet all the requirements related to precision mechanics, including as regards the mechanical machining of small parts and complex mechanical components, ensuring utmost availability and customer satisfaction.
All production processes related to precision mechanics are managed using cutting-edge technology machinery able of managing the working and production of high-precision mechanical parts on alloy steels, aluminium and its alloys, copper, brass and bronze, and plastic materials (Teflon, PVC, nylon).
Construction and assembly of metal sections, piping and sheet metal work
O.M.I. SUD is engaged in the construction and assembly of metal sections, piping and sheet metal work.
The construction activity takes place after a meticulous and in-depth technical study of the job order so as to optimize the individual phases of preparation, assembly, welding, inspection, testing and certification of the product, ensuring the correspondence of the finished product to the technical specifications of the job order.
O.M.I. Sud is able to manufacture products in the following categories:
